I’m reading “Kidnred” by Octavia Butler, and it’s about racism, and how the historical wounds can be healed through facing the past together (by both white people and black people)–in order to create a new future. The protagonist literally time-travels to the past and meets her ancestors…it’s pretty cool. A page-turner, too.
