there is still color
here – eighty-six days later

but as these things go,
there is some
withering, a methodic
, and yesterday,
we noticed that we
cast longer shadows

And welcome to Part III of this poetic strand, this slow-moving elegy that shape-shifts and colors your days. Again, your photo of the orchid
buds on the ground, their tiny blossoms throwing shadows three times their size conjures up a plethora of possible poetics, moving beyond one’s own words to the realm of the everyman. And it is a positive note we hear as we read and appreciate /yeterday/we noticed that we/cast longer shadows/.

Just want to say what a great blog you got here!
I’ve been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!

Thumbs up, and keep it going!
