we find so many words

we find so many words
to dress up our victual
desires – nothing so simple
as five ducks in a row

Nice peek into Chinatown, and the sweet juxtaposition of eye and heart with the poem.
Many of us do not eat duck often, don’t even know how to prepare it. But the little poem goes further, of course, into the fragile balance between chaos and our human need to force order into the maelstrom of daily events.
